Norwilbeck Bellchime Boxers are reputable and dedicated breeders and exhibitors of Boxers located in the beautiful village of Esprick, Lancashire. We are passionate about the breed and strive to produce and showcase the highest quality Boxers. We have a FIVE STAR Council Breeders Licence and are one of only a handful of Boxer breeders here in the UK to achieve this.

Our commitment to responsible breeding practices ensures that our dogs are not only physically sound and healthy, but also have excellent temperaments. We take great pride in our dogs and are actively involved in the dog show community, and we are one of the Top Boxer Show kennels in the UK.

Our goal is to continue the legacy of this wonderful breed and provide loving and forever homes for our puppies. Our dogs are raised in a loving home environment with children and are well socialised, making them ideal companions for any family.

Our Journey

Our fascination with Boxers began in the 1980s. Sandra started with a Sundawn bitch from the late Margaret Maskell, while Greg began with a bitch from the world-renowned Marbelton Kennel, owned by the late Mary and John Hambleton.

Greg’s affix Bellchime was granted in 1986, and Sandra’s affix Norwilbeck followed in 1991. Today, they exhibit under the joint affix Norwilbeck Bellchime, under which they have enjoyed considerable success, having bred eleven UK Champions to date.

Sandra was fortunate to be mentored by her close friend Annabel Zammit (Santonoaks), while Greg was mentored by Sue Harvey (Feardorn), spending many hours studying pedigrees at her home in Hoton, Leicestershire.

For those unfamiliar with them, their small kennel is based in the North West of England, a stone’s throw from the Irish Sea and close to the iconic Blackpool Tower.

Despite being a relatively small kennel, they have achieved notable success. A highlight came in 2008, when they won Best of Breed at Crufts and the British Boxer Club prestigious Champion of Champions trophy in the same year with Ch Bellchime Special Edition (Dee).

They are reliably informed that they are among the few kennels to have achieved this double. Sandra and Greg were therefore especially honoured to repeat this success in 2016 with Ch Panabolo Specially for Norwilbeck Bellchime (Ella). Notably, both were sired by Ch Norwilbeck Special Blend (Ben)—Dee from one of his first litters and Ella from his last, marking the end of an era.

In 2014, at the Boxer Event, Ella won both the Mancunian Pup of the Year and The Cotswold Dog of the Year, becoming the first Boxer to achieve this prestigious double. She went on to win Dog of the Year again in 2016.

Sandra and Greg are immensely proud of their achievements and would like to take this opportunity to thank all the judges who, over the years, have held their dogs in such high regard.
